Approach

My projects start where things get complicated: artificial intelligence, public services, migration data. They end with something a person can use without being told how.

I move between graphic design, UX/UI and hands-on physical work: interviews and usability tests on one side, wood, electronics and 3D on the other. Curious and experimental by default, I like picking up a new tool when the project asks for one.

Research first, then form.

What I do

(01)

Research & strategy

Desk and field research, interviews, guerrilla testing on the street, synthesis, personas and journey maps. The part that decides what is actually worth building.

(02)

Interaction & interface

User flows, information architecture, wireframes, interactive prototypes, usability testing and the design systems that keep it all consistent.

(03)

Visual & editorial systems

Identity, typography, layout and data visualisation, from a 200-page visual book to a national campaign rolled out across print, screen and city space.

(04)

Making & prototyping

Woodworking, electronics, 3D and front-end code. I build the thing rather than describe it, and lately that includes AI tooling and agents.
